Vincent Van Gogh is now considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time. Vincent owes much his modern legacy to his sister-in-law, Johanna Van Gogh, who was dedicated to collecting his letters and artwork after his passing. She traveled to all the places Vincent had lived across Europe in her search, collecting a total of 2100 sketches and pieces of art, 860 of which were paintings. This collection wouldn't include the pieces that were lost or destroyed.

By collecting Vincent's many works, Johanna Van Gogh has given the world an opportunity to experience the brilliance of his art today! 🤍 🌻
