L14 Update:
After discussions with the landlord at the Dream Center, we were informed that all units must be completely cleared out so the building can undergo a full cleaning process.
Over the past 3 weeks, we’ve been tearing everything out of the studio, and the space is finally almost empty.
After 9 years in that room, every light, wire, piece of sound equipment, and all of our belongings had to be removed from the unit.
Unfortunately, this also means the process ahead could take quite a bit of time. Once we’re eventually given the green light to return, we’ll essentially have to rebuild the entire studio from the ground up.
At this point, we still don’t know when that will be.
This isn’t the update we hoped to share, but we promise to continue keeping everyone informed as things progress.
For now, we just want to say thank you. We love and appreciate every single person who supported our little rave cave here in Hamilton over the past 9 years.
In the meantime, we’re working hard to secure another space so we can continue hosting the staple events you know and love. It’s proven to be a little more difficult than expected, but we’re not giving up.
We’ll keep pushing forward as we always do. 🖤
