Janine and I both threw mugs this week. Both of our nails were also way too long from Vegas and they had to be cut down quick time.

At one point when I still had the nails, I sliced a mug in half while it was still on the wheel. Frustrated, I smashed the piece of the clay that had come right off into my hand down on top of the portion that remained spinning on the wheel. Then I managed to seal them back into one single vessel and continue working on the piece through to completion. There was no one there to witness it and my recounting the story is not nearly as impressive as it in fact was. You’ll just have to imagine how badass it was.

It’s the time of year when all I do is drink warm liquids. Mugs are truly vital for this and a really nice one elevates the drinking experience.

This reel was supposed to be longer and I’m not sure what I did wrong but I managed to cut off a huge portion of it. Now it shall become two reels.

I’d hoped to release some new work this past weekend but things are a bit of a mess at the moment. I’ve always struggled to really focus on more than one thing and right now I just have so much in my plate!
