It’s Jenna again, aka .forgettable

As the gallery show is tomorrow, I wanted to share pictures and bits of progress and behind my installation!

There were so many trials of how to hang it, how the fabric held the colour of the dye, and many other challenges that come along with creating an installation piece.

I had a lot of help from my Dad with the hanging of my structure which I am thankful for. And many many many conversations with my family and other people in my life on how the piece was to be made and all the logistics of it.

See you TOMORROW MARCH 28, from 7-10PM at REDEEMER UNIVERISTY !

Hey guys! Did you miss me ;)
It’s .forgettable again!

I wanted to share a bit more about me and my art!

I’ve always really loved art growing up, it became a way for me to express myself- especially when I struggle to find the words. High school I went through a lull, and lacked inspiration, and hardly did any art. Stepping into university it really reignited my passion for art, I felt inspired and motivated again.

I never super resonated with traditional art. I can sketch and I can paint- but it never was entirely my thing. Throughout my degree I found the joy of experimental art. That is really where I found my groove. Really working with my hands to form something physical, raw, and real excites me! Mixing different forms of art fascinate me and help me question how to push myself further as an artist.

I can’t wait for yall to see the gallery show on MARCH 28 from 7-10 PM and REDEEMER UNIVERSITY 🤍

ARTIST TAKEOVER!! Hi all, it's Hannah here! I wanted to share a glimpse into the process of making my senior show pieces.

Often, my work space is overflowing with materials. This time, that includes pastels, images of my own beds and quilts, and acrylic paint.

The image of a bed is significant to me as it's a representation of rest, grief, and moments of peace.

Stay tuned for more!

ARTIST TAKEOVER!!
Hey guys! This is Melia again!
My work is focused on place, bringing the viewer on a journey of where I've been and sharing a bit on where I've lived over the years. While you can't fit all of a life in a letter, I'm sure gonna try :)
Stay tuned for the exhibition, March 28th!

Hello all! This my last day of posting. Thank you so much for the support! If you want to support me, my IG is !
This project has taught me a lot of things along the way. Perseverance and patience being the primary lessons.
I have some pictures of my past projects and I have also listed the music that has fueled me through this project.
I hope that my senior show embodies my love for nature and whimsy. As well as the mystery of the Creator that can be found in nature. Ihope everyone finds something to ove about it.
Thank you for sticking with us through this process!jpg of.art .artt .forgettable .

Hi! Artist Takeover: G.A.M. or ! Thanks to .of.art for the taking the first picture!
So excited to share some more stuff about me and the show!
First, lots of my art comes from my love of nature and fairytales. I like to find the little magic things in nature around us.
Second, I love when the weather is that perfect blend of autumn and spring. Canadians will know what I mean 😂.
Third, coffee is a staple. I love to go to little coffee shops for studying and to get inspiration for my pieces.
Fourth, my dog Cooper is adorable and helps me when I get into the depths of Art block.
Fifth, is Elim. This is a camp I have been going to since childhood which has helped shape me into who I am today. It is up north where I found my intense love for nature and it's Creator.
All in all these are the things that have helped me with coming up with my senior show. I am working on blending my love of architecture and nature into abstract watercolor art.
The pieces shown are previous pieces I have done.
(No spoilers)
Anyway I hope that this helps with getting to understand me and get you guys excited about the senior show!
