Miss Civilization, A Comedy in One Act

This will be our Winter show for our 2026-2027 season! Premiering in November, this comedic show is filled with action, drama, and crime!

Audition information will be sent out later this summer! We look forward to the opportunity to have new artists join us!

About the show: “Miss Civilization: A Comedy in One Act” by Richard Harding Davis is a humorous play set in the dining room of James K. Gardner’s country house on Long Island. The story unfolds as Alice Gardner encounters burglars trying to break in, leading to a series of comedic and suspenseful events involving the burglars, Alice, and a group of men. Filled with witty dialogue and social commentary, the play explores themes of crime, civilization, and human nature in a lighthearted and entertaining manner. (Via Goodreads)

We did it! We started the idea out of nothing and now we’re a non profit, WE HAD A SOLD OUT FIRST PRODUCTION, and we have created the space we wanted to. Thank you for letting us live our dream!

The cast of The Lightning is signing out! When we started this, most of us never believed it would actually happen. The more time that went on, the more we realized that we could actually do this and make our dreams come true. The show has closed, and we cannot say thank you enough. There will be more Percy Jackson posts to come!
