This is why you use an art shipment box for sending paintings by courier. Inside the box is a hard plastic layer to protect the art from punctures. This was a brand new box. Fragile large on all sides. Punctures both flat sides. UPS. I used to like their service.

Found a quite spot in the shade for a couple of hours to do a little plein air painting. This is a scene in Obidos Portugal, away from the busy spots frequented by tourists.
