The great acoustics, intimate setting, and history of celebration make the venue inviting for both musicians and audience. Paul’s Church Hall was the center of community life in French Village on St. The hall was moved in the 50’s, about a mile, to Glen Haven where it continued to serve the community for decades. in 2008 After a dormant period the hall was purchased by the Beale/Wallot family and

slowly refurbished. Finally, once again it is a place where the people meet. During the COVID-19 pandemic, live music was suspended, and Tobias's eldest son & daughter-in-law took the opportunity to open "Labour Day Picnic Café" in the Hall. LDP Cafe serves a lively café open year round for the community, and by night it acts as a performance venue.
