So, The wedding bookings are coming in for the summer. :) So far 1 booked for July, 1 for August, and another one pending for August as well :) Tis the season! Love is in the air! lol The question is, how will I play for my own wedding?

Another wedding done! :) great time had!! :) music included an original composition that I wrote called "Rosalie 's song", Part of my heart by Jim brickman, angel eyes by Jim as well, and it was a full catholic mass..so lots of Catholic hymns during it. Very traditional wedding..old stained glass windows and such....great time!!! :)

Well, today is another wedding rehearsal for me! :) This wedding is a traditional Catholic on, which is very different than mose i play for. I not only play during the bride walking in and all that normal stuff, but also for a soloist to sing about 6-8 different short songs/hymns during the full communion time. I know this will be a long wedding, just with the addition of the Mass and stuff. Should be interesting, as i have never played for a full scale Catholic wedding before...... i have played for catholic weddings, just none that have this much of the mass time in them! After the wedding i will post the songs she is using for her girls and her. All i can tell you right now, is that the song that the Bride is walking into is an original composition of mine!! ;) :) :)

What a great wedding on the weekend :) It was laid back and just enjoyable. Every bit of it was fun from the playing, to the social time to the eating :). I loved her choices of songs for during the ceremony for me to play: "Breathe" by Faith hill for the girls to walk into (the groom and the men also entered to this song), The Bride came into "A Thousand Years" By Christina Perri, During the signing "When you say you love me" by Josh Groban, and walked out to "I finally found someone" by Bryan adams and Barbara ". :) Great mix of songs... and before the ceremony I played everything from Micheal Buble to Jim Brickman stuff. :) :)

Just got back from my second wedding rehearsal of the season! This one is going to be a good one! :) The songs are awesome... songs like "I finally found someone" by Bryan Adams, and "Breathe" by faith HIll. :) Looking forward to the day tomorrow :)

Well, it is the new year, and I have started meeting with the brides for the weddings I have this spring/summer to play for. :) It is always exciting to play for a moment like this in their lives. It is also very fun to see their difference in taste in music. :) I think I have done it all before at weddings..... Bruno mars... to the wedding march... to "Love and Marriage"... to Canon in D! It is pretty fun to try and make their day and ceremony even more special :)
