Liminal Flight:

An immersive performance experience, this show explores the spaces between life and death, between the present moment and encroaching change, between our understanding of ourselves and others’ perception of us. Freed from the conventions of reality, our performers interact as otherworldly beings, combining and splitting apart in powerful reactions.

This movement based, multi-disciplinary production brings together aerial circus arts, object manipulation, fire, and group dance. Under the guidance of choreographer Kara Friesen, this ensemble has developed a movement practice that embraces the different styles and skills of each performer, while creating a fresh, cohesive aesthetic. With a soundtrack featuring music produced in Atlantic Canada, this powerful and innovative performance provokes contemplation, empathy, and wonder in its audience.

Appropriate for festival or theatrical settings.
