This old barrel stave was rescued from a barn in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia.

I cleaned it up, gave it a nice coat of finish and created this colorful, hand-hooked fish to give the stave a second life.

This beautiful curved piece of driftwood comes from an old lobster trap. Lost to the sea, traces of the old wooden traps are found washed up on the shore.
