During Lent, St. Mark’s is raising donations of hygiene products and pet supplies for our Food Bank. These items are often requested but not supplied by Feed NS. Hygiene products, along with food, help to maintain overall well being of individuals and pets help maintain mental health and provide companionship. If you are able and would like to help, please consider donating any of the following unopened packages items, which will be given to our Food Bank on Easter Sunday:

Toothbrushes / toothpaste / dental floss
Razors / shaving cream
Deodorant / shampoo / soap / body wash
Sanitary pads / Kleenex / toilet paper/ paper towel
Laundry detergent / dish soap / disinfectant wipes
Cat food / kitty litter
Garbage bags

Donations can be dropped off at the church office Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 to noon.

A taste of Jubilate Singers. Join us at 7 pm Sunday December 14. Tickets $18 at the door. Proceeds support Christmas Food Boxes for 100 families in need in the metro area.

Congratulations to Rev. Dianne, our organist Michael Coburn, and Steve Beeler on their interviews about our pipe organ restoration, airing today on the CBC (radio and television). The article is scheduled to air on the 6 pm news and is available now on their website (address is in the screenshot because we can't link to it).

Jubilate Singers is heartbroken to announce the death of our longtime conductor, Terry Hurrell. His dedication and drive, his sense of humour, and his talents as musician, choir director, composer and arranger, will be hugely missed. Terry retired from Jubilate Singers officially in 2022, but remained a staunch supporter. We will be eternally grateful for his contribution to Jubilate's success and for the many, many families he helped through his work with us. May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
