Don’t miss Matt Wright this weekend on the YukYuks stage with Vicki Welch and Martin Edwards!!

In preparation for his next special, Newfoundland born comedian Matt Wright performs his new hour of stand up comedy on technology, travelling with a baby, and everything in between.
Matt Wright is a two time JUNO Award losing Canadian stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who has appeared on televised galas for Just For Laughs, CBC, and CTV. He has opened for John Mulaney, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Short, and Theo Von. He played The Weatherman on Season 2 of Son of a Critch.
Matt has written for six seasons of This Hour Has 22 Minutes where he was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award, as well as two episodes of Still Standing. As a filmmaker, his short “Snowstorm Roulette” was nominated for Best International Short at the Austin Comedy Festival.

Matt Wright is an award-winning comedian, writer, actor, and director who has performed everywhere from St. John’s to Vancouver. He’s appeared at the Just For Laughs, Winnipeg, and Halifax Comedy Festivals and is currently a writer for This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

His comedy album Vasectomy Baby hit #2 on the Canadian iTunes Comedy charts, and he’s a three-time winner of “Best Comedian” by The Overcast Magazine.

Kyle Hickey live at YukYuks this weekend!! 🔥

Kyle Hickey is a Halifax-based comedian, writer and actor who got his start at a local open mic over a decade ago. Since then, he’s performed at the Boston Comedy Festival, CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival and JFL42 in Toronto, while also landing acting roles on YTV and MTV. His live comedy albums, Experimental Phase and The Fresh Prince of Donair, can be heard on SiriusXM’s Canada Laughs and are available on iTunes and Spotify

Clare Belford is hitting the stage with her sharp, personal and seriously hilarious take on life. A fixture of Canadian comedy, Clare has performed at Just For Laughs, the New York Comedy Festival and the Halifax Comedy Festival, and has appeared on CBC’s New Wave of Stand Up and The Debaters. She’s also a writer for This Hour Has 22 Minutes, with her debut album The Entire Cabbage earning Best of 2021 honours from NPR’s Bullseye.
