My Colours of Water

My Colours of Water I love watercolours. On this page I will be posting some of my works. High school, university years, a period of study and work in Prague. A return to Prague.

My first experience as an artist was at the age of 4 when my parents first took me to art lessons. Despite an early start, there was always something in the way, preventing me from doing painting more than occasionally, regardless of my keen interest and contribution from several wonderful teachers. A move to Edinburgh in Scotland. An 8-year spell in Manchester, UK. Three wonderful kids… and a hus

band…. We have moved to Nova Scotia nearly 3 years ago. Prior to our relocation we were blessed to live in beautiful places. But there is something special about the nature here… perhaps it is the ocean. That became an enormous source of inspiration for me. Although I had several years of studying with a number of talented teachers in my school years, it was mostly study through practical experience, trial and error that led to me where I am in my journey. Thinking of people who influenced my work, I could name J.M.W. Turner and Molly Lamb-Bobak. This is my story when it comes to painting - I love to discover the simple beauty of the world, which is around us in small quirky buildings, colours, and people. I hope I can share some of it in my art. I mostly use in watercolour for my paintings, and I currently work from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

A little watercolor journey through the beautiful houses of Quebec ✨🏡
So much charm, color, and character in every corner. Loved bringing these beauties to life with paint 🎨

Soft florals, loose brushstrokes, and a little summer magic 🌼

Hello friends!

I’d like to invite you to a series of watercolour breakfasts in July.

If you would like to attend an event earlier, I have a few spots available for the June events.

I also do private group events - send me a message for more information on that!

Each breakfast is an opportunity to try or practice watercolour painting in the informal setting of a coffee shop, where you can enjoy painting and chat with some amazing people.

These are fully guided workshops with all materials provided.

No prior experience in painting is needed!

The breakfasts are taking place at East Cup Cafe (on Robie Str., in Halifax, Canada) from 9.30-11.15 am on July 4 and 11

A ticket is $25 per person.

Food and drinks aren’t included.

I encourage my participants to try amazing drinks and foods at the locations where my events are taking place – this is a great way to support another local business.

East Cup Cafe (.cup) is a terrific coffee shop with friendly staff and amazing coffee and food - I highly recommend them!!!

Spaces are limited, so prepayment is required (e-transfer to [email protected]) to reserve a spot.

Please write the date(s) you are reserving and the number of people attending when sending the payment.

(there is also a possibility to pay with a credit card via Eventbrite - I will post the link in the comments)

Changes and cancellations – I understand that circumstances change, and I always do my best trying to accommodate even last-minute requests to change a date/cancel.
However, I cannot guarantee that if a request is made less than 10 days before the event.
