Bethel Road Studio is the name of Jacqueline Halupka's studio in Haliburton County. I paint mostly landscapes in acrylics and oils on canvas and also make stained glass mosaics that highlight the beauty of the Haliburton Highlands.

I know that there are many similar compositions, all different because of different artists. I think it's because the artist is paddling along enjoying the scenery, then looks straight ahead and thinks "wow, I have to capture that". So this is my rendition. 20x20", acrylic. Also my contribution to the upcoming Rail's End member show "Point of View". This painting was posted here before in a previous version.

I did this just for fun yesterday after being inspired by Lisa Hickey at a recent demo for the DVAC group - but not surprisingly mine turned out looking more like a mosaic. This is 12×12".

I have been busy this week. Today I gave myself a challenge to do a two hour painting. Well, in the end it really took three hours to do this little 11" × 14" piece, a scene from Massasuaga Provincial Park.
