Well, the awards cabinet is cleaned, updated, and organized with all of the A.R.T.S. plaques and the festival awards from the year. What a great year it had been.

Here is the second portion of the Guelph Kiwanis Music Festival B114 class. We played the circus style march from Brian Balmages , American Big Top. We ended up with a Gold at the end of it all.

Here is the winning performance from the spARTanS Drumline at the Canadian Drumline Association Provincial Championships with our gigantic Ensemble: 21 drums and 19 in the front ensemble. The students are very happy and the instructors are very proud. Thank you to both groups for a year of hard work.

This is the trio from Bagley's National Emblem that we played as our street march at the
This was definitely a selfish choice on my part. I marched to this as a Marine long before I had any higher music education. I felt the goose bumps before I understood musical elements. This is the working Marine's favorite march. For my Marines, it is the Charlie uniform of Marine Corps marches.
The students played it well.

Here's the second piece we played at the Ontario Percussive Arts Society Day of percussion. A piece composed by Michelle Colton of called For My Mom. We were lucky to have the opportunity to work with Michelle and privately at our school to learn new styles and a deeper sense of musicality.

On Saturday we had the distinction of participating in the Ontario Day of Percussion. This was a great theatre at and the students took advantage to show how musical they can be.
