On this (almost) summer solstice seemed like a good time to start playing with a new ornament idea. Keep reading for my self critique. And share your thoughts in the comments.

I like that I figured out how to wrap the macrame rope and hand stitch it into a circle. The colours are wrong. I think it needs to be a plain deep green. The berries need to be bigger. The wreath needs to be smaller. Something about the proportions seems off.
This took almost 3 hours to make which is too long cause I would need to charge way too much.
This is process. Learn, try, make improvements.

Playtime.
For a long time I have wanted to try weaving on rocks from Georgian Bay.
Inspired by Arounna , I just picked a rock and some beautiful hand dyed thread and played.
Playing doesn’t come naturally to me. This was a lot of fun.
I should play more often.
