Science inspired arts and crafts. Neurons and Nebulas was born from my desire to bring my love of Art and Science together.

Art Circuit is THIS Friday night (October 2nd) from 7-10pm. It's a hop on hop off bus tour between four *NEW* galleries in Hamilton.

My work will be on display at Good Nerd gallery as part of their show The Cost of Staying Human - The State of the World. This is a large group show and I'm excited to see how it comes together.

You DO need to have tickets to take part on Friday night, and those tickets give you the chance to win one of four gift baskets filled with original art from participating artists.

I am a proud new member of the Canadian Embroiderers Guild of Guelph. 🪡🤝🧵

This fall session I'm taking a class for thread painting and gold work. In the winter I'll be doing reticella white work—a type of Italian lace from the 15th century!

I'm looking forward to learning these needle work techniques and getting to know some inspiring women. Because this will be the group's 50th year, we all received a pin.

(This was the lovely group I presented my artist talk to in March of this year.)

Guess whose work can now be found (and bought) at GROUND FLOOR ARTS !

They will carry a small selection of my brooches, a couple of small framed pieces, and soon a few copies of Stitching Science.

Very happy to be a part of this great little collective / gallery / workshop space! An offshoot of Wyndham Art Supplies 🎨 supplies, where we can share our art and learn new things. 🖌️🎨🫟🖼️

My friends! It's here! The official poster for Art on the Street, featuring my art!!

Every year since the show's inception I've secretly wished that *I* could have been that year's poster artist. When they reached out to me at the beginning of this year I said yes in a heartbeat!!

This will be my 8th time participating. Take a stroll down memory lane in the following slides. My first AOTS was 20 years ago, fresh out of Art School. I was also there in 2007 but I can't locate any of those photos at the moment. 2018 was my first year repping Neurons and Nebulas, bringing my felt creations and polymer clay critters. Last year felt like my most cohesive collection. A long journey to where I am today!

Thank you and for this honour, and for all the years of success as of one of the BEST shows out there.

New math piece. Kaleidoscopic quilt in a layered Koch construction. Also vaguely Victorian. 🌸🏵️❇️❄️💠

This reuses a section of a test piece for the K page of my book. One of my first attempts at quilt piecing.

Available for first dibs at (June 13th) then Art on the Street (June 20th) if it's not swooped up.

**I normally don't do back to back shows but this year I couldn't pass on these 2 stellar events.

I've been sitting on a few pieces of big news, and here's one I can now share!

✨ I've been given a solo exhibition at .arts next year! ✨ (March to May 2027)

Yesterday, I met with the gallery director and the manager to see the space and brainstorm ideas. I left feeling like a rock star!

The gallery's vision is big and exciting. We hope to make this engaging, entertaining and interactive. Bringing Art and Science together, advocating for STE*A*M, and hopefully making an impact on all ages who come to visit!
