Looking back at these sunny moments from last year has us counting down the days until festival season! ☀️🎷

While we’re reminiscing about the incredible energy of our outdoor stage, we do have an important update for 2026. If you’ve been downtown lately, you know the bulldozers and pylons are making moves. Due to the extensive ongoing construction across the downtown core, we won’t be able to host our traditional outdoor stage this year. 🚧🚧

The good news? The music absolutely doesn’t stop. 🎶 We are leaning fully into Guelph’s incredible indoor venue Royal City Mission to bring you the same world-class, boundary-pushing music you love—just with a solid roof over our heads (and zero chance of rain delays!).

We’re going to miss the open-air vibe this summer, but we can't wait to pack this magical indoor venue with that exact same energy. 🎹✨

Our biggest mission is to give back to Guelph by keeping incredible music and community programming accessible to everyone. But we can’t do it alone.

Music has the power to connect us all. 🤝
Take a look back at last year’s Six Turntables project. Twelve high school students from worked with Christopher Willes and Akash Bansal during a two-week workshop resulting in a brilliant and inspiring performance dancing with portable turntables sounding recordings from our archive.

The Guelph Jazz Festival’s mission goes beyond the main stage. Donations from music lovers like you allow GJF to give back to our community through accessible arts and community experiences.
Every dollar helps us support the next generation of creative minds right here in Guelph. 🎨🌱

Say hello to our official festival artwork! 🎨 We are absolutely captivated by this gorgeous piece designed by Gillian Wilson.

Gillian is a freelance illustrator and screen printer based in Guelph. Her hand-drawn, graphic style is heavily influenced by folk art, symbolism and the natural world.
