Chainsaw (T063) is a local legend. Born in 1978, he is easily identified by his massive dorsal fin, marked by two large notches along the trailing edge. He is a favourite whenever he’s spotted, and has become an icon of the Pacific Northwest.

I created this stamp-style sticker as an identification tool, showcasing Chainsaw’s distinctive dorsal fin and saddle patch. These are two of the ways that individual orcas are recognized and remembered.

This sticker is made for anyone who loves orcas, has been lucky enough to see Chainsaw, or is still manifesting that sighting (I’m definitely in that category).

Inspired by the Orcas that call the Pacific Northwest home and my love of land based whale watching I created these stickers to support marine conservation and get more people out watching for whales from shore!
