A professional, community infused, Theatre Company that specializes in creating and teaching next generation Theatre with next generation artists along with selected community members, using various art mediums and storytelling techniques. We use the power of art and self expression in the form of various storytelling styles to help others heal and cope with life's problems. We do this by taking regular people with regular problems and teach them the basics of effective, compelling storytelling. Once they learn the basics, we place them in hand crafted stories with problems they have either overcome, are currently struggling with, or whose had a closed loved one who experienced the problem and it effected them greatly. Once our therapist is done teaching the actors how to cope effectively one of two things will occur. We either place the actor back on stage and play out the scenario again this time using the therapy methods our therapist showed them along with the healthier outcome. We asked the audience to see if they can solve the problem in a more healthier way. Who inspired "Theatre Therapy"
This type of Theatre was heavily inspired by Augusto Boal and his ideas regarding Forum Theatre, along with our Artistic's Director's own personal journey of using theatre film and other storytelling methods to help cope with some of life’s biggest problems.
