I have rebooted my CPD breeding by taking a few males out and leaving 3 males and 3 females. Breeding had ground to a halt and now things are happening again! The first fry are just starting to hatch.

Nearly a year ago I picked up a used filter for $50, and the sellers threw in all of their former turtle keeping equipment including a 55 gal tank. Since then I have been planning a special ecosystem for this tank. I am finally setting it up and am excited for it to finish cycling so I can get some very cool fish in!

I am so happy to report my celestial Pearl danios are breeding. Instead of two groups I have just thrown all the fish into one tank and reset the auto egg collector. The fish got busy right away and this morning I have a bunch of new eggs!
