WOOOOOO!!!

J.R. Braet and Karen Ellis have joined the Wall of Honour, launching us past our starting goals for Coldest Night of the Year!

That puts the Klingon Assault Group in 4th place nationally in the Clubs category ahead of Lions Club International and only $10 behind the MacMurchy School of Highland Dance.

What does this update mean?

1) Well I will be getting a hoodie for being one of the first 300 people to raise $500.
2) I owe you a Klingon Story Time- I will try to have this made tonight
3) I have to go dance barefoot in the snow. This might have to wait until next snowfall as the ground in mostly just ice today.
4) Finally, and most important of all, together raised $580 that will go to local charities to help Northern Ontario's most vulnerable survive the winter. And we are just getting started.

Together we make a difference.

Coldest Night of the Year hoodies are going fast! The past 2 years you helped me be one of the first 300 people in Canada to hit $500 which got me one of the limited edition hoodies. We are well on the way, but still have $175 to go!

This isn't all about me though. The funds we are raising all go to programs by Samaritan Centre Sudbury to help the hungry, feed the homeless of City of Greater Sudbury.

So how can I entice you to help me in this project? If we hit:

Qapla', my warriors!

Despite the hardships of the past year and a half, the exploits of the Crimson Tempest and her crew have been mighty! We led a team of warriors on charity endeavours to feed the hungry, house the homeless, and care for veterans living with PTSD. We sent out messages of resilience and hope in a time when the world needed it. And above all, we fought this pandemic with every tool available to us, like true Klingon warriors.

But the time has come for change. Capt majvIq, 2Lt Torii, and Cadet qe'neQ have left the Durham Region to join the crew of IKV Crimson Fox - Sudbury Klingons. The remaining crew of the Tempest are being reassigned to neighbouring sectors, and the ship stood down until such a time as the storm rises again.

Thank you to all who followed our ship's exploits. Be sure to like and follow the Sudbury ship for even more glory! Here's to new adventures in new places.
