🎬 June at the Indie!
Hitting our screen this month is the hotly anticipated Canadian crime thriller 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒆, as well as Boots Reily’s latest 𝑰 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔, which early reviews are calling a live action Looney Tunes. Darlene Naponse’s beautiful observational documentary 𝑨𝒌𝒊 opens for a run, as does 𝑨𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒔, an incredible indigenous Indie Thriller. Also arriving in June is 𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒔, the heartwarming story of spirited seniors making a horror film. Later in the month, don't miss 𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅, a millennium-spanning narrative starring a gorgeous double header in Tony Leung, Léa Seydoux.

The month is also packed with special events! First up is Beth Mairs’ Retirement Party & Indie Fundraiser, celebrating our beloved founder Beth Mairs. Soccer fans can join us for 𝑭𝑹𝑬𝑬 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒓 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 on the big screen throughout June! Then Q***r North Q***r North Film Festival 2026 rolls in celebrating its 10th anniversary, June 18-21. Our Pride isn’t contained to just that one weekend because each Friday in June at 7 pm we’ll be screening additional Q***r cinema in our Pride Spotlight Series on Fridays in June.

See you at the Indie!
