Lisi Sings Lhasa is a heartfelt tribute to the luminous songwriting of the late Lhasa de Sela, performed by Canadian vocalist Lisi Sommer and an all-star ensemble of folk, jazz, and world musicians. With a voice that is both intimate and powerful, Lisi brings new life to Lhasa’s haunting, deeply human songs. Sung entirely in Spanish, the performance moves through smoky torch ballads and earthy folk laments, inviting listeners into a world of longing, resilience, and soul. At Starbelly Jam, the fun doesn't just happen on the stages—you never know what surprises await as you wander the festival grounds!

🎠 Beam n' Bloom n' Friends will be truckin' about with their homemade carousel, horn-honkin', bell-ringin', and inviting everyone to whirl and twirl along with them.

🧜‍♀️ MythMaker Productions brings myths and legends to life with fantastical costumes, giant masks, pirates, mermaids, belly dancers, and interactive adventures for all ages.

🦋 The Mysticas will roam the festival as glowing witches, winged beings, and other fantastical characters, spreading joy, wonder, and unexpected moments of delight.

🩷 Team Consent helps make Starbelly a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Look for their bright pink shirts around the festival grounds and campground, where they'll be offering harm reduction resources, support, and friendly conversations about consent culture.

ARTIST FEATURE!!! 🌼🌼🌼

From the Great Northern Plains, Little Miss Higgins struts and serenades her way onto any stage playing music brewed in early country blues, jazz and folk. 🪕

An avid storyteller, songwriter and band leader, she has been performing, touring, collaborating and recording for over 20 years. Her seven independently released albums and album artwork have received many awards and nominations, including Western Canadian Music Awards, Maple Blues and JUNOs. ✨

ARTIST FEATURE!! 🪕🎻

The Hot Biscuit Stringband is an old-time, country, and bluegrass group based in Montreal. Rooted in their love for fiddle tunes, the project draws from the Appalachian folklore and musical traditions of the 1930s to the 1960s.

Led by Ryan McNally on fiddle, Cédric Thuya Boivin on banjo, Lina Halimi on guitar, and Isaac Seglins on upright bass, their repertoire brings together driving fiddle tunes, classic country songs, and rich bluegrass harmonies.

Last December, the Hot Biscuits released their second album, Hot Bizz, while continuing to record their upcoming release, scheduled for this spring.
