The annual Bear Creek Folk Music Festival takes place mid-August on Borstad Hill in Muskoseepi Park, in the heart of Grande Prairie. The fest features 4 stages with over 30 provincial, national, and international touring artists performing from a wide range of genres, including country, Celtic, blues, gospel, Americana, bluegrass, world music, contemporary and traditional folk, rock , and many things in between. With its diverse and high-calibre lineup, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Bennie the Festival Bear went to check out the County of Grande Prairie, No. 1's 75th Anniversary Celebration today. He enjoyed fun activities and had a great time meeting some of the County's amazing first responders, as well as many great volunteers. He heard that tomorrow morning there will be a free pancake breakfast and another fantastic day of live entertainment, ending with a concert by Brett Kissel -- under a very familiar tent that made him feel at home.
Bennie is proud to have the County as Bear Creek's Stage 1 sponsor for the past many years! Thank you County of Grande Prairie No. 1 for all that you do. And happy 75th Anniversary!!
