The Mystery of Irma Vep needs 3 backstage hands - aka “Dressers” - for our upcoming production!

Think you’ve got what it takes to thrive behind the scenes? We’re looking for people ready to commit to:

🖤 3 nights a week until the play is done 👗 Dressing performers and helping with lightning-fast changes 🔥 Fast-paced backstage fun 🫣 Plenty of hustle 😂 Lots of laughs and a few tears 🎭 Never a dull moment!

Being a Dresser is more than just helping with costumes - you’ll be right in the middle of the controlled chaos that makes live theatre happen. It’s a chance to learn, get involved, meet a great crew, and play a vital role in creating something audiences will remember.

The Grande Prairie Live Theatre was pleased to announce ticket number D-2651 as the winner of The Outsider (Smith)’s 50/50 raffle on closing night! It was especially exciting as we announced long-time GPLT volunteer, Hallie McOuat, as the winner of $1,850 while she was actively volunteering backstage!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased tickets and helped make this raffle such a success. The support for local, volunteer-led fine arts in Grande Prairie is truly incredible. A special shoutout to our closing night attendees, who purchased $1,300 worth of tickets alone, almost as much as the first two weeks combined!

In case there is any curiosity around how the winner is selected: our 50/50 is processed through Rafflebox using an AGLC-approved random number generator. The platform randomly generates the winning ticket number and publicizes it online.

Thank you again to everyone who supported GPLT and helped make our very first 50/50 such a success! We hope to see you at our next production, The Mystery of Irma Vep - A Penny Dreadful!
