LIVE MUSIC SATURDAY NIGHT! 🎸

Allura Red takes the stage at Grande Prairie Live Theatre Saturday night, joined by The Quarterzips and The Kosmos for nearly three hours of local live music!

Formed in 2024, Allura Red has grown from playing shows at their high school to breweries, charity events and now writing and producing their first full-length album. Their sound pulls from blues, grunge and early-2000s alternative rock, with influences including The Tragically Hip, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Jack White and The Beaches.

Saturday’s set will feature a mix of covers and original music from their upcoming album, including material the band has been developing over the past year.

With several members heading off to university, they’ve put together a night celebrating not only their own new music, but some of the young local artists helping keep Grande Prairie’s music scene growing.

❗AGM Update❗

A quick update for our AGM coming up on September 20th 2026! An additional Member-at-Large position has become available for running, making the total Member-at-Large positions available 3.

Open board positions:
• President - 1-year term
• Vice President - 3-year term
• Treasurer - 2-year term
• Member-at-Large - 3 positions, 2-year terms
• Youth Member - 1-year term

After the AGM, stick around for a fellowship & social hour in the lounge! Then, around 4:00 PM, returning, retiring, and newly elected board members will reconnect to discuss the handover and next steps.

Get ready for a fast-paced, fanciful production filled with imagination, laughter and plenty of audience participation! 🌈✨

We’re looking for:
🎭 2 actors, 18+
🎭 1 actor, 30+
🥷 6 Set Change Ninjas, 16+

📅 Auditions:
Sunday, September 20 @7:00–8:30 pm
Monday, September 21 @7:00–8:30 pm
Additional audition times may be added if needed.

Actors will participate in improvisation and read a short selection provided at the audition. No prepared audition scene is required!
