I really liked my wooden square that I painted for the CFCA's community exhibition earlier this year. It came together so quickly when I was painting with my Northreach crew that I surprised myself 🫶 I like it so much I'm painting a 14x14 of it and adding a few more details. I'm using a wet painting technique that I learned from Janet Enfield's class to keep my paint from drying out, which is just genius level for us slower painters.

A few weeks ago I became the owner of two more easels. I have two outside where I enjoy painting (one on my deck and one under my rowan) but it is just way too windy out today. This one in my living room happens to be from the late Randy Fehr, a local wildlife artist that passed in 2024. What an honor to cherish and what u dont find when you peruse marketplace!

Making these adorable spelling poppits. Just finished this one today!

Each poppit is created to hold an intention, a goal, or something you are moving through.

It comes with jute rope for you to knot. Every knot is tied with focus, representing a step, a release, or mini goal... anything you want it to be.

Wrap the rope around the doll to contain and hold that intention.

Each day, you unwrap and cut the section of jute rope. Set it aside in a special place. This will be the act of release, of movement, of you doing the work... a visible representation.

When the doll is fully unwrapped, gather the rope and hold a burning ceremony!

Bada Bing Bada Boom.... Abracadabra... Bippity Boppity Boo!

My first ever palette knife painting is finished! This was a gift for my mama for her birthday!

As you can see I really struggled with making dark colors light, its something that will just take more practice and playing around with. And the light source 🤪
