Okay, I’ve got another idea brewing at Bare Brush Studio…

PAINTABLE PATCHES!

Tiny pieces of wearable art you can add to your favourite jeans, jacket, bag, hat—pretty much anything that could use a little extra personality.

I’m thinking a few different ways we could do this:

Custom Patches : you give me an idea, I paint it for you.

DIY Patch Kits : blank patches + fabric paint so you can create your own at home.

Paint-a-Patch Workshops : come hang out, grab some patches and spend a couple hours painting tiny wearable masterpieces with me.

They could be weird. Pretty. Spooky. Botanical. Bugs. Mushrooms. Abstract. Completely ridiculous. Whatever you want.

Before I get carried away making 800 of them… 😏😂

Which would you actually be into?
Custom painted patches?
A DIY kit?
An in-person patch painting workshop?

I’m planning some craft kits and creative sessions for fall/Halloween and Christmas, and I’d love to know what you’re interested in!

Would you prefer take-home DIY kits, in-person classes, or a mix of both?

Here are some ideas I’m considering:

DIY Monster Kits
A handmade stuffed monster with all kinds of bits and pieces to create your own little weirdo. In class or take home kit.

Paint Your Own Haunted House
Take-home kit or in-person session.

Watercolour Painting Classes
Seasonal paintings for fall/Halloween and Christmas.

Clay Jewelry Classes
Make your own earrings, pendants, brooches or other treasures.

Adorn Your Own Witch Hat
Choose one of my handmade witch hats and make it your own with ribbons, fabric, charms, feathers, flowers and other adornments.

Okay… I’ve been making something a little bit whimsical 🖤
This fall, I’m opening up the studio for ADORN YOUR OWN WITCH HAT workshops.
You’ll start with a handmade, shapeable witch hat made by me, and then the fun begins!

Think ribbons, lace, feathers, beads, buttons, chains, charms, flowers, brooches, veils 😍 You’ll dig through my collection and turn your hat into something that feels entirely and spooktacularly you! There are no wrong answers.
Come make something strange and beautiful with me.

Had so much fun vending at my first ever Comicon, in Vernon last weekend! It was one of the best events I’ve been to! Only $10 to get in and sooo many cool things to see and buy! Definitely worth checking out if you’ve never been.
