We'll, that does it!!!

Tonight's nearly sold-out show featuring Open Highway: "A Tribute to Merle Haggard" was a crowning moment to cap off the 2017 Season. It was an amazing evening of music - 3 hours on stage: 1.5 hours of songs from Merle Haggard & 1.5 hours of songs from various artists - mostly requests from the audience. The crowd loved it!! It highlights the fact that the Theatre is a great venue for music & entertainment!

On behalf of the Board of directors, let me say Thank You for supporting us. We look forward to seeing you in 2018.

By POPULAR demand... we have added another showing of "Nunsense" - the hilarious comedy about a group of nuns having a fundraiser to bury their sisters.

The new show will replace "Death Trap" on Wednesday, August 23rd at 7:00pm.

Someone has been taking down Theatre Posters around town. To that affect:

One Monday Night, at 7:00pm we will be having "A night of Classic Country Music - Country Favourites" This sow will feature the two frontmen from "Open Highway" and a third musician. Along with singing, there will be lots of fun. Its an evening you won't want to miss.

Tickets are $21.74+HST= $25.00

General Seating. Bar & Canteen Service. Bar opens 1hr before show.

To those removing our posters: The Theatre is a non-profit organization who exists to enhance the tourism draw for our town and region. We don't do what we do to make a profit like a public business. As well, we provide entertainment to locals and contribute to the local economy. We also employ 21 people during our season. While you may be trying to make a point by doing this, you're only highlighting how unsupportive you are to our town and the Burin Peninsula. To others, if you see someone tearing down a poster - take a picture and bring it to the manager. Foolishness shouldn't be tolerated in our town. Take pride in what we have!
