This year was the first time in a long time that I’ve been able to spend so much time back home, and somehow, this was also the first family session I’ve ever photographed there. 🤍

There’s something about seeing a place you’ve known your whole life through the lens that makes you appreciate it in a completely different way. Looking through these photos really put into perspective just how beautiful and special home is.

🎄 CHRISTMAS MINI REGULARS — I need your opinion! 🎄

I’m starting to plan this year’s Christmas minis, and I’m torn between two completely different looks and styles of editing.

✨ Option 1: An old-fashioned, vintage Christmas portrait backdrop : nostalgic, cozy, and a little bit of Sears catalogue magic.

✨ Option 2: A more realistic Christmas setup, similar to what I’ve done the last couple of years — something that feels like a real Christmas scene in your home, but likely in a Ralph Lauren style this season, meaning plaid, rich burgundy, greens and navy with pop of gold.

If you’ve booked Christmas minis with me before — or you’re hoping to this year — I’d LOVE to know which one you’d rather see!

‼️Looking for a family with young children ‼️ that would be up for a short video shoot down at the boardwalk tomorrow afternoon (30-45 mins) for a promotional video of the town of HVGB between 2-4pm. As a thank you, we’d provide candid family photos (10-12) taken during the shoot. This would be very natural and casual, so not overly dressy.
