Kicking Horse Culture - Engage, Energize, Enrich

09/29/2026

Thursday, October 22
7:30 pm
Golden Civic Centre

Direct from London's West End, the beloved deity in a floral power suit returns with a spook-tacular twist! God descends from the heavens (or perhaps a haunted attic?) to hilariously roast everything from pumpkin spice lattes to demonic possession in a laugh-out-loud night of comedy.

Please note: this show is intended for mature audiences (ages 16+) due to coarse language.

Film Kicks is back!

Tuner
October 15th
7:30 pm
Kicking Horse Movies

A former piano prodigy turns from tuning fine pianos to being coerced into cracking safes for a criminal gang, turning a chill character drama into a high tension heist movie.

A big shout out to our Film Kicks volunteer group coordinated by Mandy Cantle. They curate a season of film selections chosen to present the best of Canadian and International films at the Golden Cinema.

Advance tickets can be purchased online or in person at AGOG. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are available at the door — if not sold out.

Tomorrow we’re revealing the newest piece of public art in Golden created by a camp of youth and local artist Chris Pecora!

For 4 weeks, these young painters developed their idea, drew illustrations, and worked together to paint a masterpiece for everyone to enjoy.

They were asked things like: what do you love about Golden? And, what brings you joy?

Join us tomorrow to celebrate their artistic achievements.

4 pm
Beside the library (819 Park Drive)
Everyone is welcome!

A big thank you to the Golden and District Community Foundation for their support to make this project happen.

Live Kicks presents Steve Dawson & Joachim Cooder
Thursday, September 17
Golden Civic Centre
Doors at 7

Some musical meetings feel less like “collaborations” and more like conversations waiting to happen. This rare collaborative run with Steve Dawson and Joachim Cooder is exactly that: two artists sharing the stage for an entire night, swapping songs, backing each other up, and following the music wherever it leads.

Purchase your tickets online, in person at AGOG, or at the door!
