And just like that, another Celtic College and Goderich Celtic Roots Festival has come to a close. 💚

What a week! The sun was shining, music filled Lions’ Harbour Park, and we loved watching so many people get swept up in the music and take to the dance floor.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather to wander the festival grounds, discover something special in the Artisan Village, grab a meal, snack or beverage from one of our vendors, and simply spend time together enjoying the music.

Thank you to everyone who makes this week come alive - our artists, instructors, students, vendors, sponsors, partners, audiences and especially our incredible volunteers. This festival truly could not happen without the countless hours our volunteers dedicate before, during and after the event. We are so grateful.

A huge thank you to St John Ambulance MidWestern Ontario for being on site with us throughout the festival weekend and taking such great care of our festival community!

We’re so grateful to have your team there to help keep everyone safe—and it turns out you became a bit of a festival highlight yourselves! We know there were more than a few excited kids who loved getting the chance to take a closer look at the ambulance.

🎉 We're excited to share some wonderful news!

During this evening's Opening Ceremony, we were proud to officially launch the Greg Reynolds Instrument Lending Library (GRILL) in partnership with the Huron County Library.

Named in honour of the late Greg Reynolds, a passionate supporter of music and the Celtic community, the GRILL was created to help make traditional music more accessible to everyone. Whether you've always wanted to try the fiddle, are curious about the concertina, or simply want to pick up a guitar for the first time, you can now borrow an instrument free of charge through the Huron County Library.

The collection currently includes:
🎻 Violin
🪗 Concertina
🥁 Bodhrán
🎸 Guitars
🎵 Harpsicle Harp

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. We hope the GRILL inspires a whole new generation of musicians to discover the joy of traditional music.

🎉 The gates are now open!

Welcome to the 34th Goderich Celtic Roots Festival! We can't wait to share an incredible weekend of music, culture, and community with you.

We're kicking things off with the Celtic College Showcase Performances, featuring the talented students and instructors who have been learning and making music together all week.

Join us at 6:15 PM at the Main Stage for our Opening Ceremony as we officially welcome everyone to this year's festival.

With five stages, workshops, artisan vendors, delicious local food, and music around every corner, there's something for everyone.
