Tonight’s rehearsal was all about positioning. This is making this whole process seem so real. That could be why Aarica seemed like she was crying when delivering her line that is supposed to be powerful.

They ran through the play with no scripts. We had Kurtis, Danny-Jo and Donald wearing mic’s and I played with the volume. They practiced with the mic’s and learning what sounds the mic’s will pic up.

Tonight we worked on a couple of important scenes making sure the wording was right and that the point was getting across.
I also worked on setting up the mic’s. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know about that stuff.
If someone knows how to work lights and sound and have spare time to show me or help us during the play that would be awesome. We also need people to help behind the scenes.

Rehearsal the last night and tonight, lots was accomplished.
We got the music recorded and on to my laptop, and somehow I figured out how to get the sound board to talk to my laptop. This meant that for the first time we had all the sounds playing through our speakers. We also put mic’s on Aarica and Nikki. Tonight it all felt so real. It’s getting exciting as we get closer to the date. Don’t worry we will officially announce the dates of the play in the very near future.

It was rehearsal tonight. Lots of work done and lots of ideas thrown around. We got the lights up and running but every time they went to a different scene I realized that I need to add something more to the lights to make that scene look right. There is so much to learn about the lighting.

Rehearsal tonight proved that everyone knows the majority of their lines. This allowed us to move to the fine tuning the delivery of the lines. Some scenes we went over and over until it was just right. Bill took Aarica and worked with her one on one to help her fine tune one of her more important set of lines. Tonight I even said “Remember Jen said….. “. Tonight was awesome
