From traditional parades and pancake breakfasts to live music and waterfront fireworks, there is a full lineup of community events happening across the coast.
π₯Hot Tip: If you live on the Lower Coast, you can start in Sechelt for the big parade in the morning then head down to the Gibsons waterfront for the FREE afternoon BBQ, maybe stop at Roberts Creek and explore the beach and pier along the way.
π GIBSONS CELEBRATIONS
π₯ 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM | Pancake Breakfast & Parade at Gibsons Legion Branch #109 (747 Gibsons Way), followed immediately by the community parade and an afternoon beer garden!
π 4:30 PM onwards | Free Waterfront BBQ, celebratory cake, and live music at Winegarden Waterfront Park presented by Gibsons Canada Day
π¨ All Day | Beachcombers Canada Day Open House at the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives (716 Winn Rd). Admission by donation.
β¨ Gibsons Early Weekend Kickoffs:
β’ Friday, June 26 (4 PM - 10 PM): Gibsons Summer Night Market at the Public Market.

π 10:30 AM | Traditional Canada Day Parade kicking off along Cowrie Street!
π 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Family fun, live entertainment, and food trucks at Hackett Park.
