Getting Started in Directing
Sponsored by ACTCO and The Erin Arts Foundation
As part of The Erin Arts Foundation’s continuing educational and training program, Neville Worsnop will once again be conducting his popular director’s course.
The course is designed to give prospective directors a framework and detailed blueprint for planning and organization, from conception, through reading, rehearsing, technical requirements, and bringing a show to the stage.
The course involves five Saturday sessions, 10:00 – 3:00pm, with coursework in between. The cost is $30 per person which includes $15 for membership in Century Theatre Guild (for insurance purposes). This is to cover hospitality expenses. Anyone already a paid-up member for 2016-2017 will pay only $15.
The course is open to a maximum of 8, so registration will be on a first-come first-served basis.
Dates are as follows: May 14, 28, June 25, July 9, 16, 2016
The venue is Century Church Theatre, 72 Trafalgar Road, Hillsburgh
