After I finished Buddy , I started this Lion. I lost my other dog Boo, she got really sick over a weekend 2 weeks ago and we helped her transition. I'm not ready quite yet to draw Boo. I thought you'd like to see the progress of the lion . It's getting there a ways to go yet 😉

My little boy Buddy is finished.
It’s amazing how, when you’ve truly loved someone, creating their likeness just flows—it doesn’t struggle to come through.
And even now that it’s complete, it doesn’t feel finished at all.
His soul lives on… in memory, in love, and in every pencil stroke on the paper.
I find myself wanting to keep going, to keep drawing—just to hold him close a little longer.💖
