This one’s for the artists - tattoo and otherwise! Introducing the 1st Cap City Pro Seminar Series, happening Friday, Nov 6 at the Delta Fredericton. 4 incredible artists will share their knowledge, with 2 seminars for tattoo artists/apprentices and 2 open to anyone looking to build artistic skills for tattooing and beyond.

1. PAUL TOUGAS - Black & Grey Fundamentals (Tattoos artists & apprentices only) Learn the essential foundations for creating stronger, clearer, and better-structured tattoos. Paul will demonstrate his technique, including now he builds smooth, saturated gradients, control transitions, and how he keeps tattoos readable from up close and at a distance. Includes a BNG gift bag with supplies and needles Paul uses.

2. HANS DESLAURIERS - Design with Intent (Open to everyone) Explore the anatomy of a good design and how to build them. Hans will deconstruct his designs and talk through the stories and decisions behind them. He’ll also discuss applying these principles to other mediums beyond tattooing, with time for questions and discussion.

3. MARIEVE LUCKLESS - Largescale Tattooing: Concept to Application (Tattoo artists & apprentices only) Explore largescale tattooing from concept and placement to digital workflow, including how to apply large stencils in one go. Includes a gift bag, needle samples, and links to Marieve’s recommended apps & gear.

4. REBECCA O’QUINN - Composition, Contrast & Colour (Open to everyone) Learn how composition, contrast, colour, texture and balance work together to create readable, engaging drawings, paintings and tattoos.
