We would like to share that this Monday, Savage's will be hosting their annual memorial ride in honour of Misha Boulerice — former speed skater with our club and former Savages employee, who passed away a few years ago. ❤️

Misha was known for his passion, energy, and love of adventure, and we are grateful to see his memory continue to bring people together.

🚴 Memorial Ride Details:
📍 Destination: Raggedy Ass Falls
🕗 Departure: 8:00 AM from the Shop
⏰ Expected Return: Around 6:00 PM
🛣 Terrain: Mix of secondary roads and gravel
🚐 Support vehicle available along the route

This will be a social-paced ride, and everyone is welcome to join for as little or as long as they’d like. Riders will be making stops along the way and taking their time. It’s a long day — but Misha wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Nous souhaitons partager que ce lundi, Savage's organisera sa randonnée commémorative annuelle en l’honneur de Misha Boulerice — ancien patineur de vitesse de notre club et ancien employé de Savages, décédé il y a quelques années. ❤️

Misha était reconnu pour sa passion, son énergie et son amour de l’aventure, et nous sommes reconnaissants de voir que sa mémoire continue de rassembler les gens.

📍 Destination : Raggedy Ass Falls
🕗 Départ : 8 h du magasin
⏰ Retour prévu : vers 18 h
🛣 Terrain : mélange de routes secondaires et de gravier
🚐 Véhicule de soutien disponible tout au long du parcours

La randonnée se fera à un rythme social, et tout le monde est invité à se joindre au groupe pour la durée qui lui convient. Plusieurs arrêts seront faits en chemin afin de prendre le temps de profiter de la journée. Ce sera une longue journée — mais Misha n’aurait pas voulu que ce soit autrement.

This Monday, we host our annual memorial ride to honour Misha Boulerice.

Misha was a member of our team for many years, and we ride to honor his memory. As a coworker, and friend we miss him daily.

The ride will be a social pace -- with a support vehicle along the way. Ride with us for as little or as long as you like! Leave the Shop at 8am -- we will be stopping along the way and taking our time -- full ride will take the full day -- expected return 6pm. We know this is a long day but Misha wouldn't do it any other way -- in fact he would have wanted to go well into the wee hours!

Destination -- Raggedy Ass falls --
Terrain -- Mix of secondary roads and gravel.
What you can bring -- Food, water, and good vibes!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our former skater, Rikki Doak, on being named Fredericton Athlete of the Year for 2025 and recipient of the Myer and Jack Budovitch Trophy!

Making it to the Olympic Games is the pinnacle for most athletes, and Rikki’s journey is a true reflection of dedication and perseverance. After a standout 2025 season, she earned her spot on Team Canada for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

Training with the national program in Montreal over the past two years, Rikki had a breakout season—winning silver in the women’s 500m and contributing to Canada’s gold medal relay team at the World Short Track Championships in Beijing. She also played a key role in securing Canada’s Crystal Globe on the 2024–25 World Tour.

Although she qualified in two distances, Rikki did not get the opportunity to race in Milan-Cortina due to the incredible depth of Canada’s roster. Still, being part of the Olympic team and walking in the Opening Ceremonies was a dream come true—one she shared alongside fellow New Brunswicker Courtney Sarault.

Rikki’s journey is far from over, and we know this experience is just another step toward future podiums.

Nous sommes extrêmement fiers de célébrer une ancienne de notre club, Rikki Doak, nommée Athlète de l’année 2025 à Fredericton et récipiendaire du trophée Myer et Jack Budovitch!

Atteindre les Jeux olympiques représente le sommet pour la plupart des athlètes, et le parcours de Rikki est un véritable exemple de détermination et de persévérance. Après une saison 2025 exceptionnelle, elle a mérité sa place au sein d’Équipe Canada pour les Jeux olympiques d'hiver de Milan-Cortina 2026.

S’entraînant avec le programme national à Montréal depuis deux ans, Rikki a connu une saison marquante : médaille d’argent au 500 m féminin et membre de l’équipe canadienne médaillée d’or aux Championnats du monde de courte piste à Beijing. Elle a également contribué à la conquête du Globe de cristal lors de la Coupe du monde 2024-2025.

Bien qu’elle se soit qualifiée dans deux distances, Rikki n’a malheureusement pas eu l’occasion de patiner à Milan-Cortina en raison de la grande profondeur de l’équipe canadienne. Elle a tout de même réalisé un rêve en participant à la cérémonie d’ouverture aux côtés de tous les athlètes canadiens, incluant son amie et compatriote du Nouveau-Brunswick, Courtney Sarault.

Son parcours est loin d’être terminé, et cette expérience ne fait que la rapprocher de futurs podiums.

Let's celebrate the end of the year with games, fun, and awards! 🏆 We’ll present Skater Awards and the first-ever Debby Fisher Award.

📍 Where: Flippins – 375 King St, The Tannery
Over 50 pinball and arcade games! 🎮

🗓️ When: Sunday, April 26, 2–4 PM

⛸️ Who: All skating families are welcome! Parents, caregivers, and siblings are invited to join the celebration.

🍩 Refreshments: Soft drinks included + light snacks provided.

🧳 Bring: Each game costs 1 token. A few tokens will be provided; extra tokens available at $1/token.

Congratulations to our athletes this past weekend!

Obhik Saha earned first place in the 1000m Super Final, and Maddie Leclerc received the True Sport Award for exemplifying the True Sport Principles! From our four skaters who competed, we brought home an incredible 8 personal best times!

Congratulations to all of you! This was a fantastic way to finish our season on a high note. We had the opportunity to meet new friends from other clubs, gain valuable racing experience, and connect with athletes from across different provinces. You’ve represented our club, our community, and our province exceptionally well!

A big thank you to our coaches, officials, and volunteers for all your hard work. Special thanks to the Dartmouth Crossing Speed Skating Club for hosting the event, as well as Speed Skate NB and Speed Skating Canada | Patinage de vitesse Canada for making this event possible!

Félicitations à vous tous! Quelle excellente façon de terminer la saison en beauté. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer de nouveaux amis provenant d’autres clubs, d’acquérir une précieuse expérience de course et de créer des liens avec des athlètes de différentes provinces. Vous avez représenté notre club, notre communauté et notre province avec brio!

Un grand merci à nos entraîneurs, officiels et bénévoles pour tout votre travail. Un merci tout spécial au club de Dartmouth pour l’organisation de l’événement, ainsi qu’à Speed Skate NB et Speed Skate Canada pour avoir rendu cet événement possible!

Canada Youth 2026 Camp Day is complete. Thank you Speed Skating Canada and all the volunteers, Officials, and Coaches from Maritimes, Quebec, and Ontario that helped make this a success.

Individual races start tomorrow with 1500M H/F and 400M H/S/F. The day kicks off with 2000M Male relay .

We had a very special guest visit our club — Brendan Corey OLY!

Fresh off the end of his season, following the World Championships and 2026 Olympics, Brendan took the time to come visit us—and that truly meant so much.

Thank you so much for stopping by. We deeply appreciate you and your family making the time to reconnect with your roots.

Your kindness, humility, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone. The time you spent with our skaters—sharing your journey, offering encouragement, and simply being present—was incredibly meaningful.

Moments like these remind us why our community is so special. You’ve inspired our athletes to dream big and believe those dreams are within reach. We are so grateful for your visit and hope to welcome you back anytime!

Nous avons eu la chance d’accueillir un invité très spécial dans notre club — Brendan Corey!

Tout juste après la fin de sa saison, à la suite des Championnats du monde et les Jeux olympiques de 2026, Brendan a pris le temps de venir nous visiter—et cela signifie énormément pour nous.

Merci infiniment d’avoir pris le temps de passer nous voir. Nous apprécions sincèrement que vous et votre famille soyez venus renouer avec vos racines.

Votre gentillesse, votre humilité et votre générosité ont marqué tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de vous rencontrer. Le temps que vous avez consacré à nos patineurs—en partageant votre parcours, vos conseils et votre présence—a été extrêmement précieux.
