Theatre New Brunswick

Theatre New Brunswick Entertain. Inspire. Awaken. Since 1969. NB 🇨🇦 Theatre New Brunswick is one of Canada’s oldest and longest running regional theatre companies.

Our mission is to create extraordinary theatre that inspires and entertains our audience while celebrating New Brunswick’s best theatre artists; and to provide outstanding theatre training and performance that educates and awakens the imaginations of our youth. Theatre New Brunswick acknowledges that it carries out its work on the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq and Pesk

otomuhkati peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which these nations first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources, but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. We, the staff and members of the board, pay respect to the elders, past and present, and descendants of this land. We honour the knowledge keepers and seek their guidance as we strive to develop closer relationships with the Indigenous people of New Brunswick.

We'll be announcing our new season later this summer but now is the time to get ahead of the rush and become a sponsor for our 2026/2027 season!

🎭 TNB is one of Canada's oldest regional theatre companies & is NB's only professional English theatre company. We support & celebrate Maritime artists through a professional season that tours annually to communities province-wide and beyond.

🎒 The TNB Theatre School provides year-round education & training to over 250 youths in areas of musical theatre, acting, & leadership.

A recognizable face in all things TNB, our wonderful Naomi McGowan is bringing her talents and sunshine to the awesome team at Solo Chicken Productions!

She has been a reliable and joyful presence here at Theatre New Brunswick to say the least, and we will miss her dearly. But thankfully, she isn’t entirely leaving us, as she intends to keep teaching in our theatre school.

We look forward to watching you shine in your new role. Thank you for everything, Naomi!
