New Brunswick Highland Games Festival Since 1981, the New Brunswick Highland Games have been working to advance knowledge of the Scottish “Be a Scot” for the weekend! Fredericton, NB, Canada.

July 28-30, 2022

Enjoy world-class Piping and Drumming and the crowd favourite, Massed Bands - a spectacular sight with hundreds of pipers and drummers marching together. Watch the strength of the Scottish Athletics, admire the Highland Dance competitions and enjoy Celtic Music. Don’t miss our Friday night concert! Explore Scottish history along the Avenue of the Clans, sample haggis, and browse

wares from Celtic Vendors. Join a Workshop and learn how to play the bagpipes, speak Gaelic, or sample whiskey. There’s fun for everyone including mini-golf in the Kids Corner. To our dedicated committee members, incredible volunteers, generous sponsors, supportive friends, talented presenters and performers, skilled competitors, proud clans, local vendors, community partners, amazing site crew and everyone who worked behind the scenes—thank you.

Your time, passion, generosity, and dedication are what make this festival possible year after year. Whether you spent months planning, volunteered your weekend, showcased your talents, represented your clan, competed on the field, supported from the sidelines, or helped create an unforgettable experience for our visitors, you played an important part in this year's success.

To everyone who joined us to celebrate Scottish culture, community, and tradition; thank you for making this year's New Brunswick Highland Games so special.

What a weekend. 💚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This year at the New Brunswick Highland Games, we welcomed everyone to celebrate Scottish culture, cheer on incredible competitors, enjoy live music, connect with local vendors, and make memories with family and friends.

From the sound of the pipes to the excitement of the heavy events, the energy throughout the weekend reminded us why this festival means so much to our community.

To everyone who attended, competed, volunteered, performed, sponsored, partnered with us, or supported the festival in any way, thank you for making this year's Highland Games so special.
