That time of year is coming …

I can’t be the only one that wonders if it’s all worth it when you’re standing in -30’c watching your horse come in with a newly ripped blanket, or after paying your board bill while struggling to find time to even go to the barn and stay somewhat comfortable doing it 👀🤑🥶 As an autoimmune girly, I get it.

Keep moving, keep a good support network, give yourself time to rest and seriously - take your vitamins 😅 We all need a push and a helping hand at times 🖤 First and foremost though, be kind to yourself and your ponies. Winter is hard, and she’s just around the corner.

I’m putting my brushes down! I spent so much time trying to perfect this learning piece that I had to take a break from it for a while. I sat down with it again, made some adjustments, and I think I’m calling it done 🥰🥰

This is Francis, a llama x alpaca cross I used to own, and the photo reference was taken by Miranda Evelyn Srayko when he was boarded with her 🖤

I’m planning on repainting this one multiple times to compare my growth and eye. Once this one is varnished, it could be for sale!

I haven’t touched acrylic since high school, but the pastel learning curve really helped me get back into it. I’m excited for what else is to come!

Getting back on the horse!

Literally and figuratively. It’s been a wild ride juggling the day to day, along with prioritizing my mare and foal for general handling and work when we can. I finally picked up a little project as a thanks for our current boarding facility before we move- a quick little acrylic painting of their barn on a rock I got from their farm 🥰 We will be sad to move next week, but excited for our new adventure!

This little project finally pushed me to finish something I’ve been working on for months, too! More to come 😍

One question I’ve been getting a lot — do I take one-off or small batch orders?
Yes, absolutely ❤️ you can order just one of anything.

The only thing to keep in mind: if we’re creating a brand new file (like a logo or custom line art), there is a one-time setup fee separate from the garment + embroidery cost. If you’re ordering multiple pieces with the same design, it becomes much more cost effective.
