Registration is now open for my October Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) class ☺️

Class fee is $30 and it will include your own package of embellishments.

Special Techniques will be paper piecing and blending with water splotching!!

How many schnapps flavours can you think of?

Schnapps is the easiest way for me to use fruit, preserve its flavour and have a special after drink to serve. I prefer a dry schnapps versus a sticky sweet schnapps.

2026 I made Apple, Raspberry, Rhubarb, Saskatoon, Haskap and Black Current Schnapps.

Basic Recipe:
4 cups of fruit, 1/2cup white sugar & 750ml Vodka

I double the sugar raspberries, rhubarb and Black Currents, due to their tartness.

I let these jars sit in a dark cool and dry location in my basement for 3 months to a year.

Then I strain twice: to separate the fruit from the liquid (discard the fruit) and second time I use coffee filters to separate the sediment from the gorgeous liquid. I pour the filtered fruit flavoured vodka into recycled bottles with airtight tops/ corks. Label the bottles so I know what flavor it is.

I aim to strain these by Christmas this year 🥰
