I’ve been spring cleaning I my art room, tripping down memory lane as I thumb through my 40 yr collection of weaving magazines. It’s cool to see what inspired me all those yrs ago up to today. I am going to have to settle in for a longer visit.

Wow December is knocking at the door and it is craft sale season already. These scarves are just a taste of what I have available at the Christmas Market in the Peace Gallery North - sale opens Friday evening Nov 28 and runs thru the month of December.

The North peace Spinners & Weavers sale follows on Sat Dec 6. 10:am - 4pm - At the Arts Post - 10320 94th Ave FSj. I have a variety of items available including these scarves, zipper bags and more. Drop around to see what treasures my fellow artisans have on display.

The Arts Council Reduce Reuse Rejoice gently used Christmas decoration sale and the North Peace Potters guild sale runs on the same date at the same location. A great day out.

Fabulous Fibre is an inspirational must-participate show for 25 regional artists creating hand-crafted contemporary and innovative works using fibre and textiles in their work. If you would like to participate:

Fill out the jot form at:
https://form.jotform.com/250067449335055
• Artist can submit up to 5 pieces
• Attach 3-5 images of your current fibre work
• There is a $125 honourarium per artist

Fibre and textile artists use natural and synthetic fibres and fabric in their work. Artists may use a wide range of techniques, including knitting, crochet, weaving, embroidery, felting, beading, knotting, or braiding fabric. This show will also include mixed media works as long as fibre is used in some fashion.
