Musical Influences

Dav Through a mutual acquaintance, Dave met Duane. Enter Steve.

We are a 4-piece Country/Rock band formed by David White and Duane Myles in the spring of 2015. Dave and Duane then went on to recruit Carson Darling, to play drums. However, there was a missing piece to our puzzle and we finally found the fit in Steve Fehr. Dave brings an influence of the Beatles and Burton Cummings to his vocals. Along with that, Dave loves the vocal harmonies and guitar work in

The Eagles. As a result, Dave went searching for a guitar player who could sing. Duane brings a great range in guitar playing and an even greater range in vocal ability. How could he not when his influences include The Eagles and CCR. Two singers and two guitar players. We now need a bass player. We went through several bassists, who became great friends on our journey, but for one reason or another (mainly living in a different province), we were in search for the right fit. Dave and Steve have known each other for 10 years, but never knew the other played in bands. Steve brings a very country flavour to the band. He is a homegrown West Coast boy who likes his Rock, but loves his Country music. And this is SweetWater. We hope to see you on our journey and 2018 will be a great year for this band.
