I delivered Muscowpetung’s painting yesterday! The seven grandfather teachings. First time seeing their powwow grounds. Amazing! The leadership the people the arbour the celebration! And to have my work displayed like that in such a beautiful place. Surrounded by so many great people who had nothing but kind words to say. I handed out quite a few cards last night and had some really good conversations about my work. This experience will definitely stay with me.

Well my painting will be on full display this weekend at Standing Buffalo powwow!!! I built the display box so it can be hung on the announcers stand for the whole world to see !!! Exciting times now I can cross this one off the to do list!

- All street parking throughout Fort Qu’Appelle is free!
- Need extra space? You can park at our former festival grounds (old Fort location), Bert Fox High School, or the Prairie Co-op Rexcentre, all just a short stroll away.

🚻 WASHROOM LOCATIONS
- On-Site Portables are conveniently located in multiple spots across the festival grounds.
- Indoor Washrooms are available inside the Fort Qu’Appelle Legion, which is also hosting the Qu'Appelle Valley Art Guild Gallery and our entertainment area!

I forgot to share this here on my art page when it was posted but here it is! And the project which is four 7 feet by 7 feet paintings for the towns new welcome signs are done! I’m spending today taking pictures of them so the town can make prints and other merchandise!

Mr. Clark's Visual Art 10/20/30 class had the opportunity to visit with local artist Steven Thomas, who is presently engaged in a significant community project. He provided valuable insights to our students regarding the realities of being a full-time artist, the significance of diverse knowledge, and how he incorporates these elements into his work. Steven is a true inspiration, impressing both students and teacher alike with his passion and dedication. We appreciate the invitation and look forward to viewing the final outcome of his work.
