Fort McMurray International Film Festival Fort McMurray International Film Festival aka YMMiFF, Northern Alberta's premiere Film Festival.

Founded by the YMM Podcast, the Fort McMurray International Film Festival was originally known as the interPLAY Film Festival and has been running since 2011. The festival was designed to feature local artists as well as international film makers by inviting a wide range of formats, styles and genres. In 2012, The Fort McMurray Film Makers Association was formed and officially sanctioned under the

Alberta Societies Act in April of 2013, the Fort McMurray Filmmakers Association (the YMMFMA) is a Registered Non-Profit Organization. Founded by five (5) community leaders with filmmaking and entertainment experience, the YMMFMA founding members works have been recognized locally within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, provincially, nationally and internationally.
