Most people that know about The Dancery, know it as it is today

What many people donā€™t know is that I never really shared much of the journey getting here.

When I was building The Dancery, life was moving incredibly fast. Between construction, business, family, health challenges and just trying to keep everything afloat, I spent most of my time focused on getting to the finish line.

Looking back, I realized Iā€™ve been sitting on years (I canā€™t believe Iā€™m saying ā€œyearsā€) of photos, videos, milestones, lessons and behind-the-scenes moments that Iā€™ve never shared šŸ™ˆ

So over the next little while, I thought it would be fun to take you behind the scenes and show you what it actually looked like to build The Dancery from the ground up šŸ„°

Some of the photos are messyā€¦some are funnyā€¦most of them remind me how far weā€™ve come.

And honestly, Iā€™m really proud of all of it.

To see my name up there with fitness centers and dance studios means so much! They all have so many classes, options, trainers and instructorsā€¦and then thereā€™s me lol! The class Iā€™ve created is one of my biggest passions and the people that come to spend time with me week after week mean the world to me šŸ¤—

Then to see my name as a finalist for best event planner?! šŸ„¹ Thank you so much. I absolutely LOVE events and I hope everyone that celebrates here has the best experience ā¤ļø

Then best market with our Sip & Shop?! So amazing! We all love this event so much! I actually got off of the phone with AGLC a little while ago and weā€™re working on an outdoor area for next month. We have such short beautiful summersā€¦we want to spend as much time outside as possible šŸ˜šŸ„‚

I canā€™t believe how fast the days are flying by! I feel like I blink and itā€™s the weekend again ā¤ļø

Last month, we hosted our first full wedding! Dharla and James are now about to celebrate their first month as a married couple and we are so thankful they trusted us with their special day šŸ„°

I managed to snap a couple of pictures of the ceremony set-up but didnā€™t get a chance to snap a picture of the reception set-up. I will share more when they have their pictures from their photographer šŸ™‚

It was such a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple and everyone really enjoyed their time celebrating šŸ¤—ā¤ļø

Itā€™s time to clean out your closet! Weā€™re combining two of our favorite fall/winter events and moving it to Sunday for the summer season ā¤ļø

This will be a mix of local small businesses as well as people selling their previously loved clothing & accessories šŸ¤—

Spaces have started filling up and the link to register as a vendor will be up on our website this evening šŸ’•

If any local businesses have a pop up tent and would like to set-up outside, this is a possibility if there are at least a few of you that are interested šŸ™‚
