FORT McMURRAY LADIES…ELLE IS BACK 🤗🖤🥂

When was the last time you had a really good excuse to get dressed up, put on the heels, grab your girlfriends and go out?

That’s the kind of night I want ELLE to be.

A little fancy. A lot of fun.

Good food, pretty drinks, fashion, beauty, some amazing local businesses, things happening throughout the evening…and the kind of music that makes you remember how much you used to love going out.

ELLE 2026 - The ‘Everything Ladies Love Event’ is coming back to The Dancery as part of our 2nd anniversary celebration and I’m SO excited about this one.

This isn’t a market…and it’s not a formal sit-down event.

It’s a girls’ night out.

Get dressed up. Have a drink. Wander around. Check things out. Sit and visit. Meet some new people…

And if a song comes on that makes you need to get up and dance…even better 💃

Over the next few days I’m going to start introducing you to the businesses joining us and showing you everything that’s included in your ticket.

Wedding reception prep at The Dancery - Licensed Boutique Event Venue this weekend!

It’s funny, when I first opened, I didn’t think I wanted to do weddings but they’re actually my favorite kind of event 🥹

I think I was just afraid to get it wrong, but every wedding we’ve had so far has been so great. I’ve been so lucky to work with the best couples ❤️

Autumn and Greg were the very first couple to book with me over a year ago. We’ve had a few weddings since then, but I was so happy to finally see them enjoy their special day! And their families too!

I haven’t bartended one of the weddings until last night and it was so awesome to be there for all of that beautiful energy 🥹❤️

We had a formalwear/gala dress event last year in November and I’ve had a few messages recently asking when our next closet collective will be.

The weekends are passing by so fast! I’m thinking the only day this can happen before the Christmas parties and galas start would be Sunday, November 1st 💕

For those of you that haven’t been to one of our closet collective events, it’s a day where you can book a space to sell your previously loved clothing & accessories 🤗

You can share your space with friends to sell your things and there’s no entry fee for people coming to shop!

We have lots of places to try things on. It’s such a fun way to shop 😍

The ch*****ne wall was used for the toast to the bride and groom last night…but first? It was used as an adorable dessert wall! 😍

Thank you AT Express Homemade Meals for the amazing desserts! 🤗❤️

I didn’t get a picture of the filled ch*****ne because I was filling the glasses for the toast. I’ll get one at the next event ❤️

This ch*****ne wall has been on my to-do list for SO LONG! I actually started it months ago…but a bride that’s celebrating at The Dancery told me that she wanted one…so I decided it was a great time to finish it 😍

I love it! I’ll post a progress video soon 🤗

💕 Local businesses, experiences & hidden gems you may not even know exist in YMM

🎁 Exclusive ELLE perks & offers from participating businesses

🎶 Music, mingling, discovering and plenty of time to just hang out and enjoy the night

Some of the businesses joining us have been part of The Dancery’s story over the past two years. Some you’ll recognize from events we’ve hosted. And others are simply businesses, places and experiences we’ve discovered that we think more women in Fort McMurray need to know about.

Our featured businesses aren’t coming to set up a traditional market. They’re joining us to showcase what they do, give you a little taste of what they offer and share some special perks exclusively with our ELLE guests...without the pressure to shop.

Because your night is already included in your ticket 💕

Come ready to sip, snack and create. Discover somewhere new. Catch a little fashion. Wander around. Meet some incredible local people. Laugh with your girlfriends.

And most importantly…have an excuse to get dressed up and GO OUT 💃🥂

And we’re not revealing everything just yet 😉

Over the next few weeks we’ll be announcing our food & drink pairings, fashion features, participating businesses, YMM hidden gems and a few surprises along the way.

And the fun doesn’t end Friday night…

🛍️ SATURDAY IS OUR FALL VENDOR SHOWCASE DAY!

Some of the businesses you discover at ELLE will return the following day with their full setups for our Saturday shopping event...along with a whole new variety of local businesses to shop.
