Creating theatre takes a village, which is why we're incredibly grateful for people like Alan Roberts! Our region, as beautiful and vibrant as it is, doesn't offer any post-secondary arts education, and there is a severe gap when it comes to professional designers, directors, and stage managers.
These are highly skilled professions that often take years to master, which is why, when a rookie like our Production Manager, Hanna, is tasked with the set and props design for a mainstage show, having Alan's guidance, patience, and experience makes a world of difference.
Thank you, Alan, for spending two full days teaching us the basics of scenic painting, and to Keyano Theatre for inviting us into the magnificent shop to do so!
