SISTER ACTS promises to be a ton of fun!

If the rehearsal on January 14th was any indication, preparations for the spring season for Opus One Women's Choir is going to be a blast!

The theme for the season is "Sister Acts" . . . not to be confused with "Sister Act"! All music is drawn from sisters groups who performed from Vaudeville to the sixties. Remember the McGuire Sisters? . . . the Fontane Sisters? How about the King Sisters?

There will be lots of familiar music, some lost gems along with a few "novelty" numbers. One thing is certain . . . there will be a little something for everyone!

If you love to sing, come and check out Opus One . . . no experience or audition required. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 in the music room of Langley Secondary School. Feel free to sample a few rehearsals before committing to the season.
