I moved with my husband and 2 children to Edmonton AB in 2001, and this is where I discovered my love for stained glass. I would make glass pieces off and on over the years (usually having to reteach myself), while balancing our household and a demanding career in the financial services industry. During this time, I was fortunate enough to collect quite a selection of beautiful glass and set up a
fully functional studio. Over the last few years, it became evident that a redirection of career in my life was crucial, and I am very fortunate and grateful to now be in a position to live simply and with purpose and passion. It was with the completion of ‘Goku’ , a birthday present for my son, when I realised my skill level in every step of the process had reached the level of quality that I desired, and I was ready to share my art with others. My current studio is quite small however I will be making a bigger studio this summer so I will have room to work on larger projects and panels.
